My dance expertise, academic understanding, and decades of fitness industry experience enables me to deliver a holistic, informed and results-driven approach to movement, conditioning and overall wellbeing.

Prior to working in the fitness industry, I trained as a classical ballet dancer in both the Royal Academy of Dance and British Ballet styles, complemented by additional training in contemporary dance, African dance, Latin, ballroom and jazz ballet.

This diverse movement background has developed my understanding of body mechanics, musicality, movement quality, coordination, body control, stamina, and technical precision.

I completed studies in anatomy and biomechanics, and authored a thesis titled “An Empirical Analysis of Fitness for Modern Dance Students and the Effects on their Performance Stamina”. These academic foundations deepened by expertise in movement efficiency, functional conditioning, and performance endurance.

My introduction to gym-based training began even earlier as I used strength and cardiovascular conditioning to improve stamina, power and recovery throughout my dance career.

With over 30 years of professional experience in the fitness industry, I have worked in a wide range of roles, including group fitness instructor, personal trainer, sales management, and club general manager. This extensive industry background allows me to combine practical training, leadership experience, and movement knowledge to support clients at all levels.
